We are back from our vacation and did the two weeks of quarantine! It is time to get back out to out Friday Fundays! I was really excited to be invited by the Woodland Park Zoo and tour their newest exhibit, Dinosaur Discovery.
The exhibit did not disappoint! As I walked through, while I knew that they weren't real, it just felt so real. The location, the sounds, and the movement of the dinos, all made for a very realistic experience. The kids and I had fun learning about all the different species. My daughter was amazed that many of them once lived in the North America. We enjoyed taking silly pictures with the dinos, and just wandering around immersed in the moment. I highly recommend this exhibit, not just for anyone who loves dinosaurs, but for everyone .

Dinosaurs at the zoo?
Did you know dinosaurs still roam the earth? In fact, their present-day relatives live right here at Woodland Park Zoo — birds! As the years went on, birds evolved to be lighter and smaller, their feathers got better, they grew beaks, and their wishbones fused together to help make flying easier. Dinosaurs and birds are a lot more alike than you’d think: their claws are alike, their social behavior is similar and even their eggs look the same.

Dinosaur Discovery is inside Woodland Park Zoo. To visit, you first purchase a ticket to Woodland Park Zoo, then head to the Dinosaur Discovery exhibit to purchase a separate ticket.
