Ivar’s Restaurants opened its 22nd Seafood Bar in Kirkland on August 19th, adding another location on Seattle’s Eastside. Located at 5910 Lake Washington Blvd NE, everyone’s clam-tastic Seafood Bar favorites and grilled entrees are available for lunch and dinner at the fast casual restaurant.
“After receiving such positive feedback about the addition of our Issaquah Seafood Bar last October, we wanted to bring another location to Seattle’s Eastside,” said Carl Taylor, director of operations for Ivar’s Seafood Bars. “We love becoming more involved with our neighborhood communities and bringing Ivar’s favorites to locals and visitors alike as we continue to grow.”

The Kirkland Seafood Bar holds 78 guests, including 50 indoors at booths and tables, along with 28 in the new outdoor space featuring umbrella shaded tables. At 1,697 sq. ft., the new location also boasts sustainable features including composting, LED lighting and new, efficient HVAC technology. Guests can expect the familiar nautical and quirky décor adorning the walls as throughout all Ivar’s locations.

While dining in Kirkland, chowderheads from near and far are now able to enjoy Ivar’s classics like golden fried fish ‘n chips varieties of Alaska True Cod, Alaska Pollock, Wild Alaska Halibut, seafood entrees of Clams ‘n Chips, Jumbo Prawns ‘n Chips and, the ever popular, White or Red Clam or Wild Alaskan Smoked Salmon Chowders. The Seafood Bar also serves Grilled Entrées of wild Alaska salmon or halibut with wild rice, cole slaw and corn bread; Caesar Salads featuring grilled wild Alaskan salmon or halibut, Dungeness crab or shrimp; grilled Pacific True Cod Fish Tacos with tortilla chips and the specialty Salmon BLT served on a hearty, ciabatta roll with tangy aioli and fries. Beverage options include Coca-Cola products, Sparkling ICE and a selection of Beer and Wine.
