If you answered yes to any of the above, The Eastside Macaroni Kid wants you! We are looking to expand our editorial selection and to build a team of contributing writers and we want you to be a part of it!
Guest writers may submit an article on any topic of their choosing, geared toward an audience of families with children. Local content must refer to places within Bellevue, Redmond, Mercer Island, and Kirkland, or within a day trip of the Eastside. Ideal article length is between 3-5 paragraphs; lists are great too!
Aside from potentially having your writing published on our website and e-newsletter, from time to time, our regular contributors may be asked to participate in specific writing assignments which may include product, venue, restaurant or event reviews and be provided complimentary tickets, items or admission for the purpose of such a review.
Submission does not guarantee publishing and timing will depend on our editorial calendar. All content subject to final editing by The Eastside Macaroni Kid.
To submit your article, email the content along with title and byline, to katrinac@macaronikid.com. A photo or graphic to go with the article is greatly appreciated and greatly increase the chances of the article being published; any images submitted must be able to be shared without risk of copyright infringement.
