I went into Ulta for a scheduled blowout. I have a boatload of hair that no longer gets the attention it used to pre-motherhood, so I was bursting with excitement. Not only was I using my kid-free time for ME, I was getting my hair done. Master Designer and Salon Manager Phoebe Jean was truly a joy to spend that time with and I could have had her wash my hair all day. Ulta is all about showcasing the fun side of beauty with a wide variety of brands that appeal to every type of person at every price point. But here are the most important tips when you want to take advantage of their full service salon. Their busiest days are Tuesday and Saturday so be sure to book an appointment in advance. If scheduling is not in the cards and you need to play it by ear, the best walk-in days at this Ulta location are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
I can't tell you enough how much this pampering was needed. I appreciated the adult conversation and hot tea, the friendly and stellar service by Phoebe and everyone in the store, and most importantly the final product of my blowout. You bet I felt like a brand new mom at preschool pick up!
