What do two boys (5 and 10 years old) and a 35-year old man have in common?  At first glance, one can only assume.  Now if you place a Star Wars Rogue One BIG-FIG, specifically a 20" Stormtrooper, in front of them, the lights in their eyes reveal something major that transcends nearly 40 years old fandom.

Stormtroopers were first introduced to moviewatchers back in 1977's Star Wars: Episode IV and continue to make their impact in the Galactic Empire in this year's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.  With 12 movies over almost four decades, the characters of Star Wars have made an impact on adults and children alike.

We hosted a Holiday Toy Preview Party on November 10th at FIT4MOM in Redmond and among many awesome toys from JAKKS Pacific were two highly anticipated BIG-FIGS.  On hand, we had one Stormtrooper to play with and a Death Trooper to give away to one lucky child.

The Stormtrooper and Death Trooper stand a cool 20 inches tall, which is 3-5 times bigger than most action figures out there.  That is the most appealing feature of the BIG-FIGS.  The child or adult playing with it doesn't have to get on its eye level when they're seated.  This feature adds a level of ease and fun when setting the figure in its place and adjusting the 7 points of articulation -- neck, shoulders. wrists, and legs.  The size also makes the detailing of the Stormtrooper armor even more prominent and as my husband says, "It seems so real you think it's going to move!"

The Star Wars BIG-FIGS bring these iconic figures to life with its size and detailing.  Though I've never really played with action figures of any sort, I can say it would be awesome to have at least three BIG-FIGS to create a little army of Stormtroopers and Death Troopers.  And the boys who played with the BIG-FIGS bought into my imagination, too.  So no matter the age, if you have a lover of action figures or a fan of the Star Wars franchise, these BIG-FIGS are a no-brainer gift for them.
